Quantum Bit Netlabel was conceptually born on October 24, 2006, following the writing of the "Manifest STUB" by co-founders Jaeck The Bit & Warxx. In 2007, it began distributing its first releases online, offering a diverse range of electronic music with a particular focus on audio/video experimentation and computer art.

The netlabel distinguished itself by producing promotional CDs and DVDs in limited edition using a special " "Vacuum Packaging" technique. This unique vacuum-sealed packaging was initially dedicated to an exclusive first batch of 7 QuBIT releases and a few subsequent exceptions.

Artists associated with the netlabel are free from contracts and obligations. They retain full ownership of their works, as well as any other management or promotional rights. All curation is based on criteria of quality, creativity, originality, and conceptual strength.

In 2012, Quantum Bit Netlabel became the first limited-edition label, restricting its catalog to a total of 3x33 releases (33 QuBIT albums + 33 FreeQ EPs/live sets/experiments + 33 QuSNG singles).

In 2017, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the birth of Pietro Grossi, an Italian pioneer of computer music, and the 10th anniversary of its first releases, Quantum Bit Netlabel concluded its music releases. It can thus be defined as a work composed of works: a temporary observer of a defined historical period from which forms of free and independent art are extracted.

Nobody will be the owner; but only a temporary observer and distributor.

All productions are protected by creative commons license (www.creativecommons.it / www.archive.org) and downloaded from our "PDF QuCatalog 2007-2017".
